Tribune News NetworkDohaThe Building Maintenance and Demolition Committee of Ministry of Municipality and Environment issued 115 directives for the demolition of illegal buildings in the second quarter of the year. It issued 54 such decisions in April, 40 in May and 46 in June. Besides, the committee issued 25 maintenance decisions during the period.During that period, the committee received 277 requests from municipalities, including 197 demolition requests and 80 maintenance requests.
