DOHA: First Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee HESheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani participated via video communication technology in the 89th meeting of the Executive Council of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), which was held in the Greek capital, Athens, on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by President of the Federation of National Olympic Committees Dr Robin Mitchell and members of the Federation’s Executive Council.
During the meeting, several topics were discussed, the most important of which was the latest preparations related to the upcoming Summer Olympic Games (Paris 2024) and the federation’s strategic plan, in addition to the reports submitted by the continental federations and the various committees of the Union of National Olympic Committees on their latest programmes and initiatives.
