QNADohaThe Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani visited on Wednesday morning Khalifa International Stadium and Aspire Zone.During the visit HH the Amir was briefed on the preparations to host the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019, to be held from September 27 to October 6. HH the Amir also listen to a brief explanation about the ongoing preparations.HH the Amir then toured various facilities and areas designated to serve the participants and visitors of the tournament, including the external tour areas, the entry areas of players and manpower and the centers designated for media, issuing permits and volunteers.HH the Amir was accompanied during the visit by HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and Chairman of Higher Organizing Committee of IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, and a number of officials of the Committee.
