‘Shirvan Métisse Doha’, an exciting addition to the multicultural Qatar food scene, opened at The Pearl-Qatar on Tuesday.
The Hospitality Development Company (HDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of United Development Company (UDC) -- a leading Qatari shareholding company and master developer of The Pearl-Qatar and Gewan Island -- hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the new fine-dining restaurant curated by Michelin-Star Chef Akrame Benallal.
Shirvan Metisse Doha is inspired by oriental flairs from Azerbaijan and food cultures along the old Silk Road. Set in an elegant and lively ambiance, it offers both indoor and outdoor dining experiences enhanced by the air-cooled terrace with views of Porto Arabia marina.
Chef Akrame Benallal has crafted an extensive menu full of generous dishes inspired by food cultures along the old Silk Road. The menu features generous sharing platters, homemade breads, innovative vegetarian offerings including the signature ‘Black Hummus’, mouthwatering mains, delightful desserts and a wide assortment of handcrafted specialty drinks.
In addition, restaurant guests will enjoy supreme items including ‘The Unmissable Slow Braised Lamb Shoulder’ and the ‘Wagyu Beef Prime Rib’ as well as the signature ‘Sahara Lamb’ marinated for 24h and slow cooked in a Sealine sand crust as a tribute from the chef to Qatari heritage.
Shirvan Métisse Doha is open daily from 12:00 to 23:30 in 7 La Croisette, Porto Arabia. For reservations, call: 44095303 or 31578387.
