Qatar University (QU) and Seashore Group have signed an agreement to provide support to students of College of Engineering.

Dr Ibrahim Al Kaabi, QU’s vice-president for Academic Affairs; and Saqer Saeed Al Mohannadi, deputy chairman of the Board of Seashore Group, were on hand to sign the agreement. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kaabi said, “This agreement marks a commitment between our university and our partners to work together towards common goals. We aim to use this agreement to share experiences, organise educational events and support students through joint programs. By promoting volunteerism and effective programme implementation, we aim for mutual growth and societal advancement.”

Mohannadi said, “Through this agreement, the group aims to enhance cooperation and coordination with Qatar University, provide financial support for joint initiatives,and research other areas such as engineering and architecture. Additionally, the group also seeks to provide opportunities for field training for students to enhance their skills and develop their practical capabilities in their professional lives.”

This agreement signifies the commitment of the involved parties to collaborate and achieve common objectives. They agree to enhance research and scientific cooperation by sharing experiences and information.Both parties aim to support and train students through collaborative programmes. They also commit to promoting volunteerism and establishing effective mechanisms for programme implementation.
