The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Monday recorded 227 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) within 24 hours.
According to the ministry, 218 of the cases were from the community and nine from travellers returning from abroad who are subject to quarantine.
The MoPH also recorded 214 recoveries from the virus within 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in Qatar to 122,209.
All new cases have been introduced to isolation and are receiving necessary care according to their health status.
