The Junior Section at the MES Indian School honoured 342 students from Grades I to V who secured their places in the Principal’s Roll of Honour for their academic excellence in the academic year 2019-20.
Twenty-five students with 100 percent attendance were also honoured during the programme, which was held online through Zoom platform. The ceremony was also streamed live on Facebook.
The event commenced with a prayer by Dania Farooqi of Grade III B.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Hameeda Kadar, MES principal, appreciated the parents and teachers for their supportive role and enabling students to win the honour. She urged the students to nurture and uphold the values for a bright and promising future.
Sumayya Nazeer, headmistress, Junior Section, complimented the recipients for their outstanding performance.
Sruti Nath, computer teacher, supported the programme with a PowerPoint presentation. Shalima Semeer and Mehvish Mehraj compered the programme. Aaesha Fathima of Grade IV B welcomed the gathering and Jenna Ayesha Mahir of Grade II D proposed the vote of thanks.
