Two talented Filipino young artists, Joelle Eunice Guantes Izon and Mary Pauleen Orollo Rioveros recently performed in a prestigious music recital at the Qatar National Convention Center.
Izon and Rioveros are both students of IAID Performing Arts Academy and the show was held under the supervision of their vocal instructor, Jasmin Salvo.
The show, which started at 2pm and ended at 4pm, turned into a musical concert. It showcased a total of 18 live performances that were witnessed by more than 200 spectators.
Joelle Eunice Izon
Izon embarked on her musical journey with IAID in 2017, starting with the i-Sing introductory singing course. Inspired by her love for music, she also decided to explore Classical Piano.
Currently, she is making impressive strides in her Grade 4 Piano Lessons, guided by the structured syllabus provided by the London College of Music at the University of West London, UK and her Indonesian Piano Instructor, Lintang Purwantiningsih.
Each lesson brings her closer to mastering the piano and expressing herself through its beautiful melodies. In addition to her piano studies, Izon has been excelling in her Voice lessons. She is now reaching Grade 2 of the same syllabus from the UK-based London College of Music.
With her instructor’s guidance, Izon’s vocal abilities continue to flourish, enriching her performances with emotion and depth. From shy to shining bright, she has found her confidence through the power of music and is now ready to continue unlocking her potential to give an amazing total performance.
Mary Pauleen Rioveros
Rioveros’ musical journey began in 2017 when she enrolled in IAID’s i-Sing introductory singing course, igniting a passion for music that continues to blossom.
Currently, she is embarking on an exhilarating journey through Grade 4 Voice Lessons, following the esteemed syllabus provided by the London College of Music at the University of West London, UK.
Each lesson brings her closer to unlocking the full potential of her voice, honing her skills in technique, expression, and musical interpretation.
Guiding her on her vocal odyssey is her instructor, whose expertise and encouragement have played a pivotal role in her growth as a vocalist.
Together, Izon and Rioveros form a dynamic duo, united by their shared dedication to musical excellence and the transformative power of music.
At the recital, both of them and their mentor, joined forces to deliver the message of the synergy and bonds that were formed with all the performers (bands, backup singers, and backup dancers) and the whole production team, who shared the same passion and dedication for music.
Their collaboration has showcased not only the talents, but the depth of emotion, technical precision, and sheer artistry that left the audience spellbound and moved. Their performances fulfilled their promise to evoke a range of emotions from joy to nostalgia to inspiration.
