Doha Bank, in collaboration with Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), supported World Diabetes Day by providing screening, testing and awareness of diabetes for all employees in the bank.
Encouraging healthier lifestyle and supporting the concept of ‘Prevention is better than cure’, employees of Doha Bank were given the opportunity to test their blood glucose levels and avail themselves of free consultation with an endocrinologist.
Primary Health Care Corporation set up several testing and consultation stations, which accommodated over 400 employees for testing and consultation. PHCC also conducted an informative awareness session on prevention of diabetes, risk factors, adapting to diabetes, treatment and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
Throughout the year, Doha Bank embarks on various initiatives by organising educational and recreational events, creating opportunities for its employees to better their lifestyle and stay healthier.
