The Ministry of Interior (MoI) is planning to use unmanned aerial vehicles to speed up its response to events such as traffic accidents. The aerial vehicle is now on display at the MoI’s National Day pavilion at Darb Al Saai. "This remotely-controlled aerial vehicle allows people to be transported from one point to another, irrespective of obstacles such as traffic jams,” said MoI official Lieutenant Essa al Kubaisi. "The controller of the aircraft will be in the operating room. This new invention will add unprecedented security to the work of the MoI,” he added. (TNN)
