Qatar has emerged as one of the best countries for older people to live in, according to a new study. Handicare, in partnership with Age Co, has published the results of the study that looked at the best countries for older people to live in. The research analysed various data sets, such as cost of living, healthcare, and retirement age, to rank each country against each other. While Norway has emerged as the best country for older people to live in, Qatar stood second in the list, followed by Finland, Malaysia, Sweden, and Japan.

Botswana, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, and Hong Kong rank in the bottom five.

The datasets used to create a ranking of each country included life expectancy, health care index score, societal safety score, happiness index score, cost of living index score, property prices index score, and the retirement age for men and women. (TNN)
