Qatar Academy, other QF schools hold prayer for rain

QATAR Academy Doha (QA Doha), part of Qatar Foundation's (QF's) Pre-University Education (PUE), hosted the Prayer for Rain on Thursday, following an announcement by the Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani. The students gathered in the Education City campus to take part in the Prayer for Rain 'Salat al-Istisqa' which was led by Yasser Ibrahim, lead teacher of Islamic Studies, QA Doha. A number of QF's other schools, all of which operate under PUE, also held Prayer for Rain gatherings. (TNN)
