Attended by Serbian Ambassador to Qatar HE Jasminko Pozderac, the meeting laid particular focus on building longstanding partnerships between Qatari businessmen and their Serbian counterparts in tourism, industry, services and other sectors.
QC Vice Chairman Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Twar said the Chamber was ready to offer investment opportunities in Serbia to Qatari businessmen, who seeks to diversify their investments into the promising fields of tourism, hospitality, water desalination and sports.
The Chamber also ensured the Serbian delegation of its active involvement in apprising the Qatari business community of the investment opportunities available in Serbia.
Serbian delegate Muamer Zukorlic, who is also the chairman of the Committee on Education, Technology Development and Information Society in his country, said Serbia has a lot to offer in terms of investment opportunities. He said several renowned entrepreneurs in Serbia were looking forward to building bilateral partnerships with their counterparts in Qatar.
He underlined the importance of activating the cooperation agreement signed between the two countries to increase bilateral business visits and the importance of organising joint meetings and exhibitions between the two sides.
Zukorlic expected these measures to contribute to familiarising the Qatari and Serbian business communities with the opportunities available in the two countries.
