The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has been taking measures to improve facilities at Qatar beaches visited by families. Favourite beaches include Simaisma Beach, Al Wakrah Family Beach, Farkeh Beach in Al Khor, Al Thakhira Beach, Al Kharaij in Umm Bab and Northern Beaches.
