The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) is technically and administratively ready for summer and the Holy Month of Ramadan as distribution and transmission networks of electricity and water, water pumping stations and tanker filling stations are prepared to meet the need of the public.
According to the corporation, the Electricity Networks Affairs has completed maintenance works of the main transmission stations, sub-stations and control centres to provide power supply without interruption during peak times.
The corporation also paid special attention to strategic locations and some important facilities in the country to avoid any unexpected increase in electrical loads due to the growing demand for electricity.
On the other hand, the Water Networks Affairs has completed maintenance works of all water pumping stations and tanker filling stations as well as water transmission and distribution networks.
All technical teams are ready around the clock for rapid intervention to handle breakdowns in a record time.
