Dignitaries and guests at a gathering of the Asian Ambassadors' Group hosted by the Embassy of Vietnam at the Torch Doha Hotel recently. Ambassador of Vietnam to Qatar HE Nguyen Hoang addressed the gathering. The attendees at the event included several envoys of Asian countries, Ahmed Ahen, director of International Cooperation, Economic and Trade Agreements at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and Ambassador Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhro, director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department of Protocol, among others. In his remarks, Ambassador Hoang greeted the attendees and thanked Ambassador Fakhro for supporting the embassy and Ahen for his contributions to furthering the Qatar-Vietnam relations. The Asian Ambassadors' Group includes 21 envoys and is currently chaired by the Ambassador of Malaysia HE Dato' Ahmad Jazri Mohd Johar. (TNN)
