Oran
The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Saturday arrived in the city of Oran in Algeria to attend the opening ceremony of the 19th Oran 2022 Mediterranean Games.
HH the Amir was welcomed at the Oran International Airport ‘Ahmed Ben Bella’ by President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Also at the airport to welcome HH the Amir were a number of ministers of the Algerian government, Ambassador of Qatar to Algeria HE Abdulaziz Ali Al Naama, Ambassador of Algeria to Qatar HE Dr Mustafa Boutoura and Qatar embassy officials. Upon his arrival at the airport, an official reception ceremony was held for HH the Amir. HH the Amir is accompanied by Personal Representative of HH the Amir HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and an official delegation.
