As part of the community outreach, the MES Indian School, in collaboration with Kings Dental Center, conducted an oral health awareness programme at the Conference Hall recently for the students of grades III and IV.
The resource persons of the session Dr Sajna Zahir, MDS, pedodontist; Dr Rashmi Bangera, MDS, oral pathologist; and Dr Safir Aziz, admin and practice manager at Kings Dental Centre, focused on general awareness of the need for oral health and hygiene among children.
About 400 students from grades III and IV attended the event.
The session also focused on good oral hygiene practices, quiz for students, prizes and gifts for winners and distribution of vouchers. Praseela K.A, Shiju Sebastian, Gincy Wilson, from the Department of Health and Welfare, coordinated the programme.
