Ambassador of Qatar to the Republic of Rwanda HE Misfer Faisal Mubarak Al Ajab Al Shahwani has praised the bilateral relations between Qatar and the Republic of Rwanda. The ambassador noted the positive and fruitful cooperation between the two friendly countries, which included many sectors such as the economic and tourism sectors, culminating in the signing of a number of agreements between the two countries.
The ambassador referred to Qatari investments in Rwanda, noting the investment made in Bugesera Airport, as well as investments in Rwandan airlines in partnership with Qatar Airways.
In regard to cooperation in the sports and social fields, he said with Qatar’s preparations to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and Qatar’s belief in the impact of positive societal change for football in Qatar and globally, a Generation Amazing center will be opened in the capital, Kigali, as part of the social responsibility program of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.
