Reuven John Jithu, a student of Class IX at Birla Public School (BPS) Doha, has brought laurels to the school by winning the Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 Boys Singles titles at the YAAS Qatar Open Badminton Championship Season-2. The tournament was held at Palestine School Doha from June 1 to 4. Reuven was the only player in the entire event to win the championship across three age groups.
Reuven has previously participated in other international tournaments in Abu Dhabi, winning the title in the U15 Boys category.
“Reuven’s victory is definitely a motivation for the young sports enthusiasts of Birla Public School,”said Academic Director – Principal Harish Sanduja.
