Fashion show ‘La Tessuti season 2’, hosted by the first Italian Fashion institute in Qatar, Istituto di Moda Burgo, in collaboration with Jamila magazine was a huge success.
The show, hosted on May 30 at Alwadi hotel MGallery, Msheireb Downtown, was graced by special guests, including IMB Qatar chairman Ebrahim Akbar Al- Ashar, Ambassador of Italy to Qatar HE Alessandro Prunas and Amal Ameen, a famous Qatari fashion Icon and entrepreneur.
Many other VIPs and dignitaries were also present, including Ambassador of Indonesia to Qatar HE Ridwan Hassan, representative from embassy of Turkey, distinguished guests, students’ family members, famous bloggers and media partners including Jamila magazine, Marhaba Qatar, ilovetqatar.net, essence of Qatar, Radio Olive Qatar, Qatar Tribune.
The event was a massive success and more than 60 outfits, including collections inspired by the famous architecture of Qatar were showcased by models on the catwalk. These outfits were designed by Istituto Di Moda Burgo Qatar fashion students under the guidance of their institute professional experts. In line with the ideal of fashion sustainability in Qatar, a few students of Burgo Qatar showcased their sustainable fashion collections as tribute to appreciate Qatar sustainability week 2022.
Moreover, Internship and supporting partners - La Boutique Blanche, Afraa Official, Vghon Tassan Couture, Al Huda Centre of Modest Fashion and AJ Roma a new age abaya designer recommended by Italian Chamber of Commerce in Qatar had also participated.
The lead sponsors who made this show a success were Agile Information Technology Qatar, La Boutique Blanche, Madi International, Goldwell, Nuxe Qatar, Verdura Care Qatar, Bio Oil Qatar, Afraa Official, Incubate Qatar, American Hospital Clinics, Top Events Organization and Top Agency.
In addition, Best Buddies - Shafallah Centre,a comprehensive, leading, and non-profit centre dedicated to children with special needs was also the proud supporting partner for the fashion show. In appreciation, there was special display created for Best Buddies – Shafallah students.
Lastly, many other supporting partners like Doha Kick Boxing, Monier, Jennyrtistic, Glambyafra, Marsa Abroad, Rejuv Skin Care, Doha Women Forum, Scale 7, Italian Chamber Of Commerce; Qatar, shineclicksdoha had glammed the event.
Overall, the fashion show has left an outstanding impression on attendees and marks a new encouragement for fashion enthusiast in state of Qatar by delivering its amazing professional international trainings & events in fashion.
