The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) conducted a workshop, titled ‘Localization of the ICT Value Chain’, at the Digital Center of Excellence in Msheireb Downtown Doha recently.
The workshop was organised as part of a large-scale strategic CRA research study, aimed at collecting data and building measurements and insights for the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector in Qatar.
The CRA workshop engaged industry leaders and decision-makers from key verticals in an interactive session and discussed localisation opportunities across the ICT value chain and growth opportunities for the sector and Qatar’s economy. It was attended by leading local businesses, startups and international companies across ICT and other economic sectors, licensing platforms and government entities, among other representatives of the ICT ecosystem.
CRA plans to publish a report based on the data and findings collected through this key research study upon its completion.
