Qatar Chamber is participating in the 14th edition of the ‘Milipol Qatar’ exhibition, which kicked off on Tuesday under the patronage of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), with the participation of many local and international exhibiting companies from 22 countries.
The expo, which is being organised by the Ministry of Interior, aims to showcase the latest innovations and technologies in the internal security and civil defence sectors.
Through its booth at the expo, the Chamber will highlight the services it offers for the business community, companies, and its members and will also offer information about doing business in Qatar, in addition to the investment climate and other issues related to the Qatari private sector.
QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition and toured its pavilions, where he was briefed on the products and innovations of exhibiting companies.
In a statement, Sheikh Khalifa praised the significant development witnessed by Milipol within the past few years, especially in terms of the number and type of exhibitors, assuring that it has become of the most important specialized exhibitions in the internal security and civil defence on the regional and international levels.
Sheikh Khalifa also noted that it plays a key role in meeting the state’s needs related to the internal security and civil defence, indicating that it offers solutions to reduce the risks related to cybersecurity, a challenge that is facing the world today.
Sheikh Khalifa called on Qatari businessmen and companies to visit the exhibition to learn more about the latest innovations and products in the internal security and civil defence sectors and cybersecurity as well.
