The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Al Fardan Automobiles, Qatar’s Land Rover dealership, has announced the recall of the Land Rover-Range Rover 2022 model due to a defect in front crash sensor installation, which results in failure of airbag deployment in the event of an accident, or airbag deployment in unnecessary situations, causing loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of an accident.
The recall campaign, according to the ministry, is part of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs. The ministry stated that it will work with the dealer to track maintenance and repair work. (TNN)
