Vodafone Qatar recently participated in the first-ever Qatar Foundation (QF) Alumni Reunion and Career Fair, providing job opportunities to QF alumni while also presenting to guests and sharing insights on youth development and the various career opportunities available at Vodafone Qatar.
Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of QF, and Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bin Hamad Al-Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of QF, attended the two-day event on May 15-16. The event provided a variety of career opportunities, as well as meetings with mentors, key speakers, and open discussions.
Chief Human Resources Officer at Vodafone Qatar, Khames Mohammed Al-Naimi, was invited as a mentor to the event and offered his knowledge and experience to the alumni. Al-Naimi commented, “It was a great pleasure to be a part of this event and to work with the students, by helping to enable them to explore all the different opportunities available to them, by leveraging their skills to take the next step in their careers.”
Vodafone Qatar is committed to developing the talents of Qatari youth by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to help them build careers in the telecommunications sector, so that they can become part of a growing pool of talent whose influence will be critical to Qatar’s future digital aspirations.
