Minister of Municipality HE Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie met with a number of mayors of Florida cities, including mayor of Fort Lauderdale County Dean Trantalis, and mayor of Broward County Michael Udine, in the presence of a number of officials and senior CEOs of American companies from various major sectors in the state.
During the meetings, aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Municipality and the major cities in the state in areas, and sectors of common interest and ways to enhance and develop them, were reviewed.
The meetings also shed light on the most important achievements of Qatar in a number of areas, including food security, agriculture, infrastructure and urban planning, and opportunities for cooperation and major joint investments between the two countries.
Minister Dr Al Subaie and Mayor of Miami Francis Suarez signed a declaration of understanding between the cities of Doha and Miami, to enhance friendship and understanding, and to encourage exchange experiences between the two cities in areas of mutual interest.
