Ambassador of Turkey to Qatar HE Dr Mustafa Goksu has stressed that the visit of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Turkey is very important in enhancing coordination between the two brotherly countries on many issues.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the ambassador said that the Amir’s visit to Turkey, and his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, come in light of regional and international developments that require enhancing Turkish-Qatari coordination on many issues, adding that the visit aims to strengthen ties and enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries on issues of joint interest.
He also said that the visit is made in the context of the unique Turkish-Qatari relations and the great ambitions they hold and the joint destiny they share, stressing that the visit will contribute to strengthening these relations and moving them towards broader horizons.
The ambassador explained that the two wise leaders will discuss various bilateral issues and steps that can be taken to strengthen the already distinguished bilateral ties, and to strengthen cooperation to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples, in addition to discussing regional issues and developments on the international scene.
The two countries have great ambitions to enhance cooperation, and they share a common destiny, and there is consensus in visions on many issues of common interest on the regional and international arenas, Ambassador Goksu added.
