Tulukoota Qatar (TKQ), an associate cultural organisation of the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) which functions under the aegis of the Embassy of India, held its AGM at the ICC recently.
Outgoing president Chaitali Uday Shetty thanked members for their support during her tenure and wished the incoming president all success. Joint Secretary Sagar Kotian briefed the audience on the activities of TKQ during the past year, while Treasurer Girish Puranik presented the audited financial report of the organisation. The financial report was unanimously approved by the Council.
At the outset of the event, Patron of TKQ Dr M Ravi Shetty congratulated the outgoing president and the management committee for the successful tenure.
He declared Kiran Anand as the new President of TKQ and installed the new managing committee for 2022-23. Chairman of the advisory board Ashmat Ali, and senior member Abdulla Monu spoke on the occasion.
The new President Kiran Anand greeted the gathering, and thanked everyone for the continued support. In his address he congratulated the outgoing team for successfully completing their tenure despite the pandemic.
He also expressed confidence that the new team would continue with the outstanding work and carry on the distinguished legacy of TKQ to take the organisation to new heights. Media Coordinator Amith Poojary presented the vote of thanks.
