From Monday (April 11), you will need a ticket to travel on the Metrolink, the Doha Metro’s free feeder bus service. The ticket can be downloaded for free in the form of a QR code from the Karwa Bus app. Once downloaded, it will be valid for all Metrolink journeys.
Here is how you can download and use the QR ticket:
1. Install the Karwa Bus App and sign in
2. Before boarding the bus, select ‘Download an E-Ticket’.
3. Click on ‘Metro Link QR Ticket’.
4. Your ticket will be displayed on screen as a golden QR code.
5. Scan the ticket on a reader in the bus as get in and out
6. You can access the QR Code ticket on the swipeable home screen or in the Card Management section of the app.
