As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Doha Bank held a blood donation drive at its headquarters in West Bay on February 20. This initiative was organised in partnership with the Blood Donor Centre of Hamad Medical Corporation, with an aim to support HMC’s nationwide campaign to encourage citizens and residents to become regular blood donors.
The blood donation drive was well received with approximately 65 donors, which included bank staff and customers, who actively took part while observing regulatory Covid-19 protocols.
“We thank all our employees who have played a very important role by donating their blood and contributing towards saving someone’s life” said Dr. R. Seetharaman, Doha Bank’s CEO.
“Doha Bank is committed to contribute towards the countries social responsibilities. The gesture and generosity of our donor employees will definitely change and bring hope to many who are in dire need,” he added.
