Moscow: A year after his imprisonment drew international criticism, Kremlin opponent Alexei Navalny is now officially listed as an “extremist” in Russia. He and several of his fellow opposition campaigners have been placed on a list of “terrorists and extremists.” The 45-year-old is number 7504 on the Russian financial watchdog Rosfinmonitoring’s list of more than 10,000 names, which also includes supporters of the Islamic State terrorist group. Navalny is imprisoned in a penal camp about 100 kilometres east of Moscow. (dpa)
