Islamabad: At least four people, including a Taliban commander, were killed in a shooting incident in Afghanistan’s eastern Kunar province, a local official said on Wednesday. Another nine people were wounded when a man opened fire on a car that was carrying a Taliban commander and civilians in the Narang district of the province, the Taliban director of information and culture in the province Mawlawi Najibullah told dpa. The local official said the attacker had escaped to a civilian house and when the house owner had denied giving him shelter he killed him too. He added that the attacker was detained after being wounded and police are investigating the case. (dpa)
