The Economic and the Financial Affairs Committee of the Shura Council on Monday discussed the issue of Qataris looking for work, determining the specializations the country needs in accordance with the requirements of the labour market and of human resources development in general.
The meeting, chaired by Chairman of the Committee HE Mohamed bin Yousef Al Mana, touched on the importance of the role of the private sector in supporting national efforts in development and the role of partnership between the public and private sectors in absorbing job seekers and localizing jobs in the private sector.
After extensive discussions, the committee decided to complete its discussions of the matter at its next meeting.
