Brighto Paints Cricket Festival organised by Unique Trading Company to mark Qatar National Day (QND) drew huge crowds at the Industrial Area Cricket Ground on Saturday.
Unique Trading Company and Redco Group cricket teams participated in the festival. The two teams were fully charged with the spirit of QND. A large number of Pakistani community members turned up to watch the match.
Redco Group team scored 127 runs in their allotted 15 overs.
Chasing the target, Unique Trading Company team won the match in the 14th over.
Earlier, General Manager of Unique Trading Company Imran Rafique, accompanied by Business Development Manager Abdul Ahad Khan and Sales Manager Mazhar Awan, welcomed the chief guest of the ceremony Mohammad Rasheed Khan, general manager of Redco Group.
Chairman of Unique Trading Company Abdul Rahman Muhammad M A Al Muftah lauded the efforts of his management team for making excellent arrangements for the festival and welcomed Redco Group for its participation.
He assured of his continues support for such celebrations in future as well.
Mohammad Rasheed Khan thanked Unique Trading Company for organising a colourful cricket festival on the occasion of QND.
“We feel proud to be part of the Qatar National Day celebrations. We thank Unique Trading Company and Brighto Paints for their assistance in hosting this match. We will continue such activities on the occasion Qatar National Sports Day in February 2022 as well,” he said.
Dignitaries at the event included Shahbaz Akram, Mohammad Shakeel, Imran Butt, Shabbir, Saeed Zaman, Asif, Arif, Nadeem Naseem, Sabir, Hamayon Mirza, Tony Bunny, Ash Bahadur Gurunj, Prabhakar Yadav.
