The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with United Cars Almana, the exclusive distributor of Dodge vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of 2021-2022 Dodge Ram 5500 vehicles due to a possible internal electrical contact with the engine’s intake air heater relay system.
MoCI recalls 2020-2021 Mercedes-Benz G-Class model
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, the exclusive distributor of Mercedes vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of 2020-2021 Mercedes-Benz G-Class vehicles because the engine electronics control unit software does not meet factory specifications.
The ministry said that the recall campaign was part of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs. The ministry stated that it would work with the dealer to monitor the maintenance and repair work, as well as communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs were made.
All customers are encouraged to report any violations to the ministry’s Consumer Protection and Combating Commercial Fraud Department, which handles complaints, inquiries, and suggestions.
