Ambassador of Republic of Turkey to Qatar HE Dr Mustafa Goksu has said the seventh round of Qatar-Turkey Supreme Strategic Committee meeting will be held in Doha on December 7. He said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be heading a large official delegation comprising ministers, businessmen and parliamentarians.
The meeting will last for two days and a number of agreements for cooperation in various fields between Qatar and Turkey will be signed. He said that since the establishment of the Supreme Strategic Committee in 2014, around 68 agreements have been signed by both the countries in various sectors including economy, energy, investment, security, defense, education, culture, youth, intellectual property and other vital areas of cooperation.
“We are confident that the new agreements will further strengthen brotherly ties between Qatar and Turkey and will reflect on growth and stability in the Gulf and the Middle East,” he said.
