Qatar’s beach volleyball team of Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan moved into the quarter-finals of the 2021 Asian Senior Beach Volleyball Championships in Phuket, Thailand on Wednesday. Younousse and
Tijan scored their second successive win beating Kazakhstan’s Sidoreko Alexey and Gurin Kirill 21-15, 21-9. Also making the quarter-finals was Qatar’s other team of Mahmoud Essam and Saif Al Majid, who beat Japan’s Ikeda Jumpei and Shiratori Katsuhiro 13-21, 21-16, 21-19. (TNN)
