The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, Qatar’s Mercedes-Benz dealership, has announced a recall of the Mercedes-Benz S-class 2021 model due to the possibility that :
• The nozzle within the suction jet pump in the fuel tank may not have been installed or attached to the pump in accordance with factory specifications.
• The threaded connection of the electric line in the front passenger footwell prefuse box does not meet factory standards.
In addition, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with National Car Company, Qatar’s Mazda dealership, has announced the recall of Mazda models from 2006 to 2023 due to a worn (Mazda) logo on the steering wheel.
The recall campaign, according to the ministry, is part of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.The ministry stated that it will work with the dealer to monitor the maintenance and repair work and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are made.
The ministry urged all customers to report any violation to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquires and suggestions.
