Finishing schools opened by Qatar-based recruitment firms in Asian and African countries have made recruitment procedures easier in the country. Such schools largely help firms in the hospitality and private security sector to recruit a large number of employees for projects related to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to industry insiders, teaching social graces and upper-class cultural rituals as a preparation for entry into Qatar society by Finishing Schools abroad will make recruitment easier for a large number of business groups in the country.
Indo Arab Recruitment, one of such recruitment agencies that have an excellent track record in this sector, has opened Finishing Schools in Kenya in Africa and major cities in Nepal, the Philippines and India.
As Qatar has relaxed COVID-19 restriction and started issuing visas for workers from selected countries since September this year, renowned and trusted agencies like Indo Arab Recruitment are geared up to put an end to the manpower scarcity in the country and at the same time provide good job opportunities for people from different countries in South Asian and Africa.
Speaking to Qatar Tribune, Indo Arab Recruitment Managing Director Subair Komath Kandy said, “The prolonged COVID-19 situation brought restrictions for the migrant workers to travel to Qatar. Now the restrictions are over and the number of workers travelling to Qatar has notably increased following the growing demand for manpower in different sectors.”
Talking about the company’s successful venture in the country’s labour market, Kandy said, “The company has successfully recruited more than 40,000 workers for the hospitality and private security sector in the last five years from different countries including Africa, Nepal, and India.”
The company not only aims at providing quality workers or good employment opportunities but also aims to provide quality training for the workers before they come for their respective jobs in Qatar.
To ensure quality service for the hiring sectors and to provide a good working atmosphere and communication skills for the employees, Kandy said, the company has opened finishing schools in different parts of Africa to train the workers about the Arabic language and introduce them to the equipment mandated for their work requirements.
“Presently, we can recruit the required number of employees in the hospitality and private security sectors within seven to ten days from African countries. We are in the process of recruiting over 40,000 trained workers in these sectors in the next six months,” Kandy said.
Indo Arab Recruitment mainly focuses on recruiting migrant workers from Africa due to different reasons including their proficiency in the Arabic language, productivity and strong physique.
“It is easier to source workers from African countries compared to countries in other continents as we can equip the African workers to join their assigned jobs within one week after completing the quarantine formalities of the country. We are also considering recruiting people from different countries including Nepal and India,” Kandy said.
Indo Arab Recruitment ensures to line up employees within one week after completing all the government formalities and has a good source of data from different countries that enable them to recruit efficient workers suiting to the employers’ requirements.
Indo Arab Recruitment venture is considered as a safe and secured window for the potential candidates looking for a career opportunity in the hospitality and private security sector in Qatar.
