The Indian Embassy and IBPC in association with ITPF (Indian Travel Professionals Forum) is currently participating in Hospitality Qatar, promoting “Incredible India” as a “365 days a year” tourist destination, showcasing various regions, destinations and activities for holiday makers.
The stall was inaugurated by HE Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to Qatar.
Indian participation assumes larger significance as Indian tourist visas are set to open from November 15, and the first 500,000 tourists will be issued visas free of charge.
India is fully prepared to welcome back tourists, with all key stakeholders in the tourism sector fully vaccinated and robust protocols put in place. India has done extremely well with the vaccination programme with more than 1 billion doses administered.
