Doha Festival City (DFC), ‘Qatar’s one and only choice for shopping, dining and entertainment’, will host a unique Fashion Festival this November. The stage will be set for its myriad of fashion retailers spanning women’s, men’s and kids’, offering them the platform to showcase their latest Fall/Winter collections available in Qatar to fashion lovers and shoppers at the Mall.
Each Thursday, Friday and Saturday, between November 4 and 20, DFC will host three consecutive shows starting at 7pm, 7:30pm and 8pm at the Centre Court on the ground floor.
As part of DFC’s commitment to offering engaging experiences, the Fashion Festival will invite guests to immerse themselves into the heart of the fashion and beauty industry, and explore the latest collections currently on display from local and global retailers at the Mall.
DFC customers will be able to watch the shows live-streamed online, and see recaps on digital screens available throughout the mall. Guests can also sit and enjoy the show (with limited seated capacity). A selection of retailers will also showcase their Fall/Winter collections in fashion pods located in several areas across the Mall.
Featuring a line-up of 18 fashion shows, centered around bridal wear, evening wear, sports wear and casual wear collections, the fashion festival will encompass a number of parades.
On Friday, November 5, the stage will be set for Monsoon Apparel as well as for kids premium fashion brands including Salam Kido, high end children apparel; and Mothercare, the premier global retailer in the mother, baby and children’s market.
Shows on Saturday, November 6, will star UK-based online fashion retailer, Boohoo brands with the celebrated British retailer Debenhams, as well as George W Davis brand from UK.
On Thursday, November 11, parades will be dedicated to renowned sports brands including NBA, the global premier source for NBA Clothing and gear; Go Sport, the largest and leading sports chain store, wrapping up the evening with Fila sportswear.
Shows on November 12 will feature the latest winter clothing collections with LC Waikiki, trendy clothes for all family members at affordable prices; as well as MAX, global fast fashion brand and Napapijri, the Italian premium casual-wear brand.
The shows on November 13 will showcase unisex premium fashion brands including American Eagle; Scotch & Soda, Dutch fashion retail brand and Armani Exchange, men’s and women’s brand for clothing and accessories.
The third week of the show will shed light on exotic women fashion with By Nour Couture, the women much-loved brand; as well as Verona, modern Islamic clothing, kicking off on November 18. Fouad Sarkis, designer to the stars, will close the day with its latest collection.
Keeping up with the exotic women fashion theme, November 19 will feature Hera for women’s clothing and List Roma, Italian clothing store. Ciragan Dantel, the celebrated Turkish brand for luxury dresses will wrap-up the fashion day showcasing stunning dresses as a show finale.
The last day of the shows will conclude with the latest collections of high-end fashion retailer Harvey Nichols, shedding light on its exclusive women and men collections through three dedicated fashion shows on Saturday November 20.
The iconic British makeup brand Charlotte Tilbury will be the official makeup sponsor of the shows for the first two weeks. MAC, world renowned beauty and makeup products brand, will sponsor the last week of the Fashion Festival. Maison de Joelle, Doha Festival City’s lavish haven of beauty and another official Fashion Festival partner, will offer splendid makeup throughout the shows of the Fashion Festival with Cuts and Colours taking care of the kids’ hair style, and 1847 salon creating unique hair styling for the models during the Festival.
DFC’s favourite tea-and-desserts spot, glamorous L’Eto Café, will be the Festival’s catering partner, offering mouth-watering canapes and delicious drinks to the guests.
