President of Slovenia Borut Pahor, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, in Ljubljana on Thursday. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the president of Slovenia, and HH the Amir’s wishes for the president’s good health and happiness, and the government and the people of Slovenia continued progress and prosperity. For his part, the president of Slovenia conveyed his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness, as well as continued progress, development, and prosperity for the State of Qatar. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen and expand them in various fields, as well as a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. The Foreign Minister also met with Slovenia’s Minister of Interior, Ales Hojs, and his foreign counterpart, Slovenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Anze Logar. (QNA)
