His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, General manager of the Cultural Village Foundation Katara, explained: “This new Festival, comes to search for, attract and sponsor artistic talent”, he stressed Katara’s constant enthusiasm and relentless pursuit to embrace talented students and work to develop and refine their capacities.
The festival’s organising committee, on the other hand, announced that participation in the festival’s competitions will be open to all students from Qatar schools (primary, preparatory, and secondary), with each school allowed to submit five artworks.
According to the organising committee, the Katara waterfront will host an art exhibition featuring the best artworks presented by schools from November 30 to December 18.
The organising committee clarified the specifications of the submitted artwork, including that it should be on Canson type paper (A3 size) and that colors (flowmaster, wood, water, wax, charcoal) are used, despite the fact that the artwork’s subject is focused on sports.
Participants must provide the name of the school, the name of the student, the title of the submitted artwork, the type of colors, and their contact information, and the deadline for submitting works is November 15, 2021, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. in building (22).
