The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, Qatar’s Mercedes-Benz dealership, has announced the recall of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, 2021 model, due to a screw connection for the 48V wiring harness on a terminal point on the body side that does not meet factory specifications.
The recall campaign, according to the ministry, is part of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs. The ministry said that it will work with the dealer to monitor the maintenance and repair work and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are made.
The ministry urged all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquires and suggestions through Call Center: 16001, Email: [email protected] or MOCI’s social media accounts.
