HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will inaugurate the 50th ordinary session of the Shura Council on Tuesday, its first assembly after the historic elections for the two-thirds of its seats on October 2.
Amir will also address the Shura Council, providing a review of the country’s domestic and foreign policies, its achievements and future projects and its positions on challenges facing the region.
HH the Amir’s speech will be a comprehensive statement of the country’s internal policy on all matters that concern the citizens and residents, and an explanation of everything new that is coming on the horizon and outlines the features of a renaissance that everyone can witness based on transparency and loyal national competencies.
At the external level, the Amir will review some features of the country’s policy towards a number of Arab, regional and international issues, and the growing role of Qatari diplomacy.
