Qatar Central Bank participated in a conference of G-20 on regulating innovation in the financial system to enhance flexible recovery, which was held on Monday via videoconferencing.
During the conference, QCB Governor Sheikh Abdullah bin Saoud al Thani delivered a speech addressing QCB’s experience in the regulations resulting from new risks and modern technologies.
The governor emphasized QCB’s interest in the environment and climate change by supporting green financing, pointing out the measures taken by the bank regarding financial technology, as well as the issuance of regulations and decisions to regulate it.
