Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani welcomed the 13 ministers at the weekly Cabinet meeting held at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday. The ministers took oath on Tuesday in a reshuffle of the Cabinet.
His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday ordered a reshuffle of the Cabinet that saw 13 appointments and a rearrangement of several ministerial portfolios.
The prime minister congratulated the new ministers on the trust HH the Amir has placed on them and wished them success in performing their duties. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the former ministers for their appreciable effort in the service of the country.
Prime Minister stressed that the recent amendments reflect the vision of the wise leadership in defining the priorities of the government’s work in the next phase to carry out its duty towards the homeland and the citizen in order to achieve the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Cabinet also approved a draft law amending some provisions of the code of criminal procedure promulgated by Law No. 23 of 2004 and a draft decision of the Minister of Interior, regulating the issuance of a certificate of good conduct.
The meeting also saw a draft agreement regulating the employment of workers between the governments of Qatar and Mozambique being approved.

Navigation Services Agency of Poland also got the Cabinet nod
The Cabinet then took appropriate decisions to follow up on the two meetings held online in September — among GCC ministers handling education, higher education and scientific research and among GCC minister handling labour, social affairs and development.
