Qatar participated in the 61st meeting of the GCC Commercial Cooperation Committee, the third meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Standardization Affairs, as well as the 48th meeting of the GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee, which were held in Manama, Bahrain.
Qatar’s delegation in the meetings was headed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Undersecretary Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater. The meetings discussed a number of topics and issues listed on the agenda, in addition to taking the appropriate pertaining decisions.
Khater also attended the consultative meeting convening Their Excellencies the Ministers of Commerce and Industry, and Their Excellencies the Chairmen in the GCC Chamber Federation, with the participation of Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al Thani.
During the consultative meeting, the topics and recommendations submitted by the chiefs of the GCC Chamber Federations were discussed and appropriate pertaining decisions were taken.
Meanwhile, Their Excellencies the GCC Ministers of Commerce and Industry met with a group of Gulf entrepreneurs, and discussed various aspects related to the entrepreneurship system, pointing out the most significant challenges and recommendations related to strengthening the Gulf entrepreneurship environment.
