Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced the grand prize winner of its annual Visa cardholders’ summer campaign which ran from June 1 - August 31, 2021.
For the first time, a lucky winner was rewarded an apartment at The Pearl-Qatar, a luxury lifestyle residential destination in Qatar .
The winner, Nasser al Kuwari was selected using a random electronic draw, which took place in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, QIB said in a statement on Monday
QIB Visa cardholders who spent a total of QR25,000 minimum in the period of the campaign using a QIB-issued Visa Credit Card in Qatar or abroad, or a QIB-issued Visa Debit Card Internationally, had a chance to enter the grand prize draw.
Commenting on his grand prize win, Kuwari said, “I am pleased to be the lucky winner of the annual grand prize, and I am thankful to QIB for their continuous efforts towards rewarding their customers. This is truly a great reward to win a property in one of Qatar’s best residential destinations.”
During the campaign period, a total of 13 QIB Visa cardholders received weekly cash prizes of QR25,000 each. QIB Visa cardholders had one chance for every QR5,000 of total spend each week, when using their QIB-issued Visa Debit Card internationally and their QIB Visa Credit Card locally or internationally.
