The Ministry of Justice has completed the cloud transformation procedures as part of its digital transformation plan under the umbrella of the strategic partnership that Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC), signed with Microsoft a year ago to establish Microsoft cloud regions in the State to be an approved national platform for cloud computing services for Qatar and the world.
The ministry has completed the procedures for transferring the data of Qatar Legal Portal (Al-Meezan), which is the most comprehensive official legal website for Qatari legislation since 1963 until now, to the Microsoft Cloud computing environment, while the rest of the services are being transferred to the Microsoft Cloud using the latest digital technology, making it available at Azure market platform and allowing users to access portal services from anywhere in the world.
Director of the Information Systems Department at the ministry Khalid Mohammed Ibrahim said that the cloud transformation plan came within the framework of the ministry’s digital transformation plan.
